Quick answer: jeffbrick.com now has a free Approved Vendors directory with 88 San Diego home pros my team and I trust, organized into 12 categories from inspections and lending to roofing, staging, moving and escrow. Each listing shows what the company does, the areas it serves, its license where one applies and its Google rating where one is available, and you can request a personal introduction from me right on the page.
Hope your week is going well! One of the questions I get asked most, by buyers, sellers and even other agents, is “who do you use?” Who is the inspector you trust, who can fix a roof before close of escrow, who can stage a house in a week, who will move my mom without breaking anything. I have been answering that question by text and email since 1999, and I finally put every one of those answers in one place.
What is the Approved Vendors directory?
It is a live list of the inspectors, lenders, contractors, designers and specialists that my team has worked with on real transactions and would send our own family to. It lives at jeffbrick.com/approved-vendors, it is free to use, and nobody pays to be on it. When we add or update a vendor the page updates on its own, so what you see is current.
What kinds of vendors are on the list?
There are 88 vendors across 12 categories right now:
- Build & Remodel (12): general contractors, kitchen and bath, finish carpentry
- Plumbing, Electrical & HVAC (11)
- Moving & Life Transitions (10): movers, downsizing and estate help
- Design, Staging & Photography (9)
- Roofing, Solar & Windows (9)
- Inspections (7): home, termite, sewer and specialty
- Legal, Escrow & City (6)
- Appraisal, Survey & Planning (6)
- Landscape & Pools (5)
- Property Management & Home Care (5)
- Lending & Insurance (4)
- Local Favorites (4): a few San Diego spots my clients love
How do I use it?
Pick a category or search by name or service, then open a listing to see the details. Business listings show the phone, email, website and address so you can reach out directly. Some of my best people are individual tradespeople who work by referral only, and for those you tap “Request an introduction” and I will personally connect you.
Why I built it
After more than 27 years in San Diego real estate, and as the 2026 President of the San Diego Multiple Listing Service, I have learned that a great transaction is never just about the agent. It is the inspector who explains what actually matters, the lender who closes on time, the contractor who shows up when the repair request comes in. These are the people who make “Million Dollar Service at All Price Points” possible, and I want my clients to have them whether they are buying their first condo or selling a home in La Jolla.
The directory also pairs with our 50 San Diego neighborhood guides. Use a guide to decide where you want to live, and use the vendor list to get the home inspected, financed, moved into and made yours.
FAQ
Is the Approved Vendors directory free?
Yes. It is free for anyone to use, and vendors do not pay to be listed.
How are vendors chosen?
Every vendor on the list comes from my team’s own vendor list, built from the people we and our clients have relied on in San Diego.
Can I get an introduction to a vendor?
Yes. Use the “Request an introduction” button on any listing and I will connect you personally. For referral-only tradespeople, that is the way to reach them.
Do I have to be a client to use it?
No. You are welcome to use it whether or not we are working together, although I would love to help with your next move too!
How do I recommend a vendor?
Send me a note through the contact page with the company name and how they helped you. Every suggestion gets a look.
Take a look at the Approved Vendors directory and let me know if you have any questions! Looking forward to helping you find the right people for your home.
